Frey Scores Career High
CARLINVILLE, IL– The Blackburn College Women’s Basketball team took on Fontbonne University Wednesday night in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play. The game featured multiple lead changes but a fourth quarter rally by the Griffins was too much to overcome as the Beavers fell 55-45.

Sophomore Kenadee Frey led the Beavers with a career-high 18 points, along with four steals and seven rebounds. Junior Caidy Tuetken added 11 points and six rebounds. The Beavers went basket for basket with the Griffins in the first quarter and outscored them in the second quarter. Blackburn went into the half tied.
The Beavers led by one heading into the fourth quarter but Fontbonne hit several timely baskets on their way to a 55-45 victory.
The team returns to action as they travel to Greenville College to take on the Panthers in SLIAC action Saturday.
