CARLINVILLE, IL -- Sophomore Odis Grissom and Freshman Amya Harris earned Blackburn College Athletes of the Week.

Grissom had a total of 21 points in this week's matchups, he led men's basketball in their game over Eureka College with 15 points and 5 rebounds. 

Harris led the women's basketball team's with 19 points, was 100% from the line, and also added 4 rebounds in total over two hard fought battles against Eureka and Calumet College. 

This week sees the men's and women's basketball teams continue with St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action Wednesday evening by hosting Fontbonne University. On Saturday, the men's and women's team will visit Greenville University. Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field kick off their season on Saturday with their opening meet at Illinois Wesleyan.
