Leemon, McNeil Named Athletes of the Week

CARLINVILLE, IL- Senior Olivia Leemon and freshman Byron McNeil earned Blackburn Athletes of the Week.

Leemon returned to track after a year hiatus and sets a new indoor record for the women's 5,000 at 23:54.81. 

McNeil continues his career indoor by setting three new records for Blackburn's indoor track and field program. In the long jump he jumped 5.38m, and he has contributed in men's 4x200 relay helping them reach 1:45.79. McNeil broke his own set record for triple jump which now stands at 12.32m and is currently ranked second in SLIAC.
